I’ve decided to take one Pinterest recipe and try it out every Saturday. This past Saturday I made another recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction. I loved how moist these muffins were and decided this recipe is definitely worth writing about.
I must say these yummy muffins didn’t rank as high as the pumpkin crumb cake muffins from last week. However, they were still great. I already had everything on the list except for the blueberries.
I opted for fresh berries, but you can also use frozen in this recipe. This recipe calls for pecans or walnuts. I used the pecans and loved them with the blueberry. I wasn’t 100% sold on the brown sugar on top of the muffin. I don’t know if it is supposed to be that crumbly, but it was messy to eat.
I was able to get a dozen full sized muffins and a few mini muffins from this batch. The recipe says one batch makes 14 cupcakes, so it worked perfectly. The kids loved them so much they were gone in a day. I was feeling festive and used some Thanksgiving cupcake liners. I can’t wait to try another recipe this weekend!
